Deliverable: Brand Identity & Social Assets

BLVD & CO reached out to me asking if I could help consult on their designs. After weeks of collaboration and conversation we decided that I would be the best fit to create their branding experience. Blvd and Co. is a BIPOC organized all-inclusive creative collective. They strive to amplify the voices of all artists by fostering a supportive community through local LA events and a digital platform. ⁣⁣

The entire pinnacle for the brand identity is centered around meeting someone at the crossroads, the place between two streets. Following this concept all the other materials easily emerged.

The logo and two variations

The logo was derived from the idea of two intersecting street signs; a place that is usually used as a spot to meet someone. Also the warping of the text adds an element of fun and approachability.

BLVD & CO specifically noted that they were having a hard time picking a pallet of colors to work from. I suggested since the entire brand is focused on the idea of the street sign that we could easily derive our colors from that same system.

In terms of branding elements, the street sign in perspective allows for color blocking backgrounds and masking photography creates an intriguing kaleidoscopic effect.
